standards;<\/li>\n<li>improving and enhancing the metrological characteristics of state standards;<\/li>\n<li>achieving the national time scale;<\/li>\n<li>conducting metrological expertise;<\/li>\n<li>participating in key and supplementary \u00a0interlaboratory comparisons;<\/li>\n<li>establishing and maintaining a system of measurement units in Montenegro;<\/li>\n<li>participating in international and national scientific research projects;<\/li>\n<li>preparation of professional bases for drafting regulations in the field of metrology;<\/li>\n<li>preparing the studies, papers, and analyses in the area of metrology;<\/li>\n<li>providing expert opinion for authorising the entities to carry out activities in the area of metrology;<\/li>\n<li>conducting administrative proceedings;<\/li>\n<li>participating in the preparation of technical specifications for procurements of laboratory equipment;<\/li>\n<li>preparing the training and development plans for staff so as to ensure competence;<\/li>\n<li>participating in activities related to the work of regional metrological organisations in the area of metrology;<\/li>\n<li>carrying out tasks related to the establishment and maintenance of quality management systems;<\/li>\n<li>providing expert opinion and expert assistance in the area of
