fusion-clearfix in active\" id=\"tab-07a1991e961b3dfb22f\">\n<h3>Activities<\/h3>\n<p>The Laboratory for Length carries out the tasks related to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>realization, preservation, maintenance and improvement of the national standard of length in Montenegro;<\/li>\n<li>providing metrological traceability in the area of length in Montenegro by transferring the unit of length from the national standard to the secondary and working standards of length;<\/li>\n<li>development of measurement methods for transferring the unit of length;<\/li>\n<li>calibration of plane-parallel gauge blocks, calipers, micrometers, dial gauges, measuring rulers and measuring tapes;<\/li>\n<li>participation in inter-laboratory comparisons;<\/li>\n<li>defining the prescribed technical and metrological requirements for determining the type of a measuring instrument for length gauges;<\/li>\n<li>verification of general purpose and height measuring devices.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-tab-heading\">NATIONAL MEASUREMENT STANDARD<\/h4><\/a><\/li><\/ul><\/div><div class=\"tab-pane fade fusion-clearfix\" id=\"tab-29dcc8f586b1b5bb250\">\n<h3>National Measurement Standard<\/h3>\n<p>Class K plane-parallel gauge blocks manufactured by MAHR and made of steel represent the national measurement standards as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Set of plane-parallel gauge blocks of measuring range from 0,5 to 100 mm;<\/li>\n<li>Class K long gauge blocks MAHR, of measuring range from 100 mm to 500 mm.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><div class=\"nav fusion-mobile-tab-nav\"><ul class=\"nav-tabs\"><li><a class=\"tab-link\" data-toggle=\"tab\" id=\"mobile-fusion-tab-calibrationofmeasurementstandards\" href=\"#tab-dcdf20ae71d0aac454d\"><h4 range from 0 mm to 300 mm;<\/li>\n<li>Vernier calipers (analog scale) in the range from 0 mm to 300 mm;<\/li>\n<li>External micrometers (classic scale) in the range from 0 mm to 150 mm;<\/li>\n<li>Micrometers (digital scale) in the range from 0 mm to 150 mm;<\/li>\n<li>Dial gauges in the range from 0 mm to 100 mm;<\/li>\n<li>Measuring rulers in the range from 0 m to 3 Measuring Instruments<\/h3>\n<p>Laboratory for Length carries out examination of length measuring instruments in order to determine compliance with the prescribed metrological requirements aimed at verification of length measuring instruments:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Length measuring instruments for general purposes;<\/li>\n<li>Height measuring instruments.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><div class=\"nav fusion-mobile-tab-nav\"><ul class=\"nav-tabs\"><li><a class=\"tab-link\" data-toggle=\"tab\" id=\"mobile-fusion-tab-typeapprovalofmeasuringinstruments\" href=\"#tab-e01b909eaf47f31bef0\"><h4 class=\"fusion-tab-heading\">TYPE APPROVAL OF MEASURING INSTRUMENTS<\/h4><\/a><\/li><\/ul><\/div><div class=\"tab-pane fade fusion-clearfix\" id=\"tab-e01b909eaf47f31bef0\">\n<h3>Type Approval Of Measuring Instruments<\/h3>\n<p>In order to verify compliance with the prescribed technical and metrological requirements, to determine the type of a measuring instrument, the Laboratory for Length examines the type of measuring instruments in the field of length measurement in accordance with the Decree on legal measuring instruments that are subject to mandatory verification or type approval (Official Gazette of Montenegro 81\/09 and 13\/17) as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Length measuring instruments for general purposes;<\/li>\n<li>Automatic level gauges for measuring the level of liquid in stationary storage tanks;<\/li>\n<li>Taximetres.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><div class=\"nav fusion-mobile-tab-nav\"><ul class=\"nav-tabs\"><li><a class=\"tab-link\" data-toggle=\"tab\" id=\"mobile-fusion-tab-traceabilityscheme\" href=\"#tab-b32a94407a93b305299\"><h4 class=\"fusion-tab-heading\">TRACEABILITY SCHEME<\/h4><\/a><\/li><\/ul><\/div><div class=\"tab-pane fade fusion-clearfix\" id=\"tab-b32a94407a93b305299\">\n<h3>Traceability Scheme<\/h3>\n<p>The Laboratory for Length performs external calibrations of its reference standards, devices and equipment necessary for achieving traceability, at the laboratories of the National Metrology Institutes (Euramet Designated Institutes) which have published their CMC in the BIPM key comparison database (BIPM KCDB) or are accredited by an accreditation body signatory to EA MLA agreement.<\/p>\n<p>Metrological traceability in the field of length is established by means of the following measurement instruments:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Gauge block comparator in the range from 0,5 mm to 100 mm;<\/li>\n<li>Helium-neon laser interferometer with wavelength of 633 nm;<\/li>\n<li>One-dimensional measuring instruments (0 mm \u2212 600 mm);<\/li>\n<li>One-dimensional measuring instruments for calibration of measuring tapes and rulers (0 mm \u2013 3000 mm).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\"
