She graduated from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Montenegro in Podgorica, majoring in production engineering, in 1995 and acquired the title of Diploma Engineer \u00a0of Science in Mechanical Engineer. She acquired the title of Master of Technical Sciences in the field of quality management in 2014 at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Montenegro.<\/p>\n<p>Mrs. Baji\u0107 started working in the Holding Company \u201cRadoje Daki\u0107\u201d in 1995, where after the internship, she worked as a technologist of structures.<\/p>\n<p>She worked in the company \u201cJugoimport Mont\u201d Ltd In the period from 1998 to 2008, as expert designer in the Department of Engineering. Her next position was in the Bureau of Metrology.<\/p>\n<p>Since the beginning of her work in the Bureau of Metrology, she has been involved in the establishment and development of the Laboratory for Length and the establishment of quality management system in the Sector for Metrological Traceability and State Standards. In the National Calibration Laboratory for Length, she has been carrying out most complex tasks related to the implementation, storing and maintenance of state standards for length, as well as the establishment of a metrological chain of traceability in the area of length, conducting calibrations of standards and measuring devices and carrying out activities in the area of legal metrology. During her metrological career, she has also participated in the development of procedures for calibration and verification of standards and measuring devices in this area and in the preparation of the laboratory for accreditation according to the rules of European accreditation. As a Team Leader, she has participated in the first interlaboratory comparisons that led to the international recognition of the services that the Laboratory for Length provides to its users.<\/p>\n<p>During her work in the Bureau of Metrology, she specialised in the area of dimensional metrology and other aspects of quality infrastructure that encourage technical, economic and scientific prosperity and provide prerequisites for fair trade. She has cooperated with regional institutions dealing with metrology and accreditation, and by visiting laboratories of the European national metrological bureaus, she has acquired practical and theoretical knowledge necessary for developing the national metrological system in compliance with the rules of regional and international metrological organisations. She has attended training courses and seminars in the areas related to the area of legal metrology and the application of the legal units of measurement system in Montenegro.<\/p>\n<p>She has participated in the work of Working Groups composed for drafting of the Regulation on legal measuring instruments that are subject to mandatory verification or type approval of the measuring instrument, the Regulation on the amount and manner of payment of fees in the field of metrology, the Rulebook on technical and metrological requirements for measuring devices and systems with measurement function, Rulebook on technical and metrological requirements and the procedure for authorization of persons for the preparation of taximeters for verification, Rulebook on deadlines for calibration of measurement standards used for verification of legal measuring instruments, Rulebook on metrological requirements for speed measuring instruments for moving vehicles, Rulebook on intervals for periodic verification of legal measuring instruments and other bylaws.<\/p>\n<p>Mrs. Baji\u0107 has participated in projects on the development of metrology and quality infrastructure funded by the European Union in Montenegro: \u201cDevelopment of quality infrastructure in Montenegro\u201d(IPA 2007) and \u201cDevelopment of quality infrastructure and metrology in Montenegro\u201d (IPA 2011), the backbone of the development of national calibration laboratories through which valuable metrological equipment and technical assistance for staff training and education have been provided to Montenegro.<\/p>\n<p>She is an active participant in the accreditation process of the Bureau of Metrology according to standard MEST EN ISO IEC 17025:2018 by internationally recognised accreditation bodies. He attended primary and secondary school in Podgorica, PS \u201cMilorad Musa Burzan\u201d and Grammar School \u201cSlobodan \u0160kerovi\u0107\u201d, where he acquired the diploma \u201cAssistant Researcher in Physics\u201d in 1980.<\/p>\n<p>In 1981, he began his studies at the University of Montenegro \u2013 Faculty of Electrical Engineering, majoring in electronics, and completed his studies in 1986, acquiring a degree in electrical engineering \u2013 electronics, VII degree.<\/p>\n<p>He has spent his entire professional life in the field of metrology. Since 15 January 1987 he has been employed at the Federal Bureau for Measures and Precious Metals \u2013 Control of Measures and Precious Metals, Podgorica, where he carried out professional tasks in the area of metrology as a metrologist \u2013 advisor.<\/p>\n<p>Since July 2006, he has been employed at the Bureau of Metrology in Podgorica. He is currently at the position of Assistant Director, Head of the Department for Metrological Traceability and State Standards.<\/p>\n<p>He speaks English and French. After finishing high school, he enrolled at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Montenegro in Podgorica, which he graduated from in 2008.<\/p>\n<p>During and after his studies, he worked in various jobs outside his field.
