Upon the completion of the Horizon 2020 training, a working group has been formed with an aim to formulate a detailed SWOT analysis to be used for the purposes of the Bureau\u2019s development as a scientific-research institution. Based on the SWOT analysis, future areas of activity of the Bureau of Metrology were defined with regard to participation in Horizon 2020 program as well as other, scientific and research programs and projects.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Within the European Metrology Research Program (EMRP), a representative of the Bureau of Metrology, Head of the Laboratory for Temperature has participated in ENV58 MeteoMet2 \u2013 Metrology for Essential Climate Variables project as part of the Researcher Mobility Grant (RMG). The representative stayed with the Italian National Metrology Institute INRiM from 14 March 2017 to 30 June 2017. In the period from 11 September to 15 September 2017, the representative also participated in the closing meeting of this project called MeteoMet Week, held at the institute \u201eReal Collegio Carlo Alberto\u201d in Moncalieri, Italy. The aim of this meeting was to present the results of the preliminary research on the impact of wind speed and effect of radiation on the accuracy of temperature measurement in different conditions for the thermometers used in automatic weather stations.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A staff member from the Laboratory for Length has participated in the project JRP:ENG56 DriveTrain \u2013 Traceable Measurement of Drivetrain Components for Renewable Energy Systems, as a recipient of the Researcher Mobility Grant (RMG1 \u2013 DriveTrain). The project was organized within EMRP and its realization took place at RWTH \u2013 Rheinisch-Westfalische Technische Hochshule in Aachen, Germany from 6 March to 28 May 2017. The research within the project concerned the determination of linear errors in coordinate measuring machines at different temperatures.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In addition to professional, the Bureau of Metrology also encourages academic growth of its employees as well as their individual research work. In 2017, the employees and the director of the Bureau of Metrology have been working on three scientific papers:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Quality system implementation in the National Metrology Institute of Montenegro (Authors: Vanja Asanovi\u0107, PhD, Milena Raoni\u0107, MSc, Naina \u010cuturi\u0107-Kne\u017eevi\u0107, Goran Vukoslavovi\u0107, Milena Popovi\u0107 and Vladan Jestrovi\u0107), published in the journal \u201eAccreditation and Quality Assurance\u201c;<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Measurements Calibration Analysis of Novel IoT Platforms (Authors: Nikola Bulatovi\u0107, MSc, Tanja Vuki\u0107evi\u0107, Rabina \u0160aboti\u0107 and Vanja Asanovi\u0107, PhD), published in the Directory of papers INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES \u2013 present and future;<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Preliminary investigation on the impact of wind speed and effect of radiation on the accuracy of temperature measurement in different conditions for the thermometers used in automatic weather stations (Authors: Graziano Coppa, PhD, Tanja Vuki\u0107evi\u0107, Andrea Merlone, PhD) \u2013expected publication: 2018<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><div class=\"nav fusion-mobile-tab-nav\"><ul class=\"nav-tabs nav-justified\"><li><a class=\"tab-link\" data-toggle=\"tab\" id=\"mobile-fusion-tab-registerofinnovativeorganisations\" href=\"#tab-c9335fe594c7418480e\"><h4 class=\"fusion-tab-heading\">Register of Innovative Organisations <\/h4><\/a><\/li><\/ul><\/div><div class=\"tab-pane fade fusion-clearfix\" id=\"tab-c9335fe594c7418480e\">\n<p>Pursuant to the Law on Innovative Activity and the Law on Administrative Proceedings, the Ministry of Science issued a decision on 8 October 2018 approving the Bureau of Metrology to conduct innovative activities and to be included in the Register of Innovative Organisations.<\/p>\n<p>Based on the submitted documents, the Ministry of Science established that the Bureau of Metrology had fulfilled the conditions for conducting innovative activities and for registration in the Register of Innovative Organisations set out in Article 16 of the Law on Innovative Activities and Article 3 of the Rulebook on detailed conditions for registration of legal entities in the Register of Innovative Organisations.<\/p>\n<p>Entry in the Register of Innovative Organisations is a proof that the Bureau of Metrology has necessary capacities to carry out innovative activities.
