Representatives of the Bureau of Metrology, Goran Vukoslavović, Alina Musić, Jovana Vukoslavović and Naina Čuturić-Knežević attended a training on the implementation of the new legislation on the level of accuracy and synchronization of business clocks provided for in MiFID II Directive (EU) 2017/574.
Among the attendees were also representatives of the Capital Market Authority, Montenegro Stock Exchange, Central Depository Agency of Montenegro, authorized credit institutions and investment intermediaries.
One of the key experts on the project, Dimitar Koychev, presented the MiFID II directive and its impact on investment companies, regulatory and supervisory bodies. In addition, basic innovations related to authorization rules, organizational requirements, business rules, transparency before and after trading, market surveillance reprorting and investment companies were also presented.
Project team leader, Konstantinos Athanasiadis, PhD, presented time measurement as part of the Practical Implementation and Surveilance of Requirements under Regulation 2017/574. The presentation was focused on two technical solutions: PTP and White Rabbit technologies for implementing the requirements arising from the MiFID II Directive.
The training was organized as part of the project ” Support for transposition of MiFID II Directive and Regulation 2017/574″ and was held on 14 October 2019 at the premises of the Capital Market Authority in Podgorica.
