Abdon da Costa Lima Junior, a student from the Federal University of Ouro Preto in Brazil, will be staying at the Bureau of Metrology, under the program of the International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience (IAESTE).
The student, Abdon da Costa Lima Junior, will be given an opportunity to gain the necessary practical experience in the national calibration laboratories of the Bureau of Metrology, as well as to establish future business connections.
Abdon da Costa Lima Junior is at the Department of Production Engineering of the Federal University of Ouro Preto and his main courses are: maths, physicis, chemistry, statistics, operational research, quality and production control. Therefore, during his intenship stint at the Bureau of Metrology, he will get acquainted with the work of national calibration laboratories in the field of mass, length, temperature, pressure, electrical quantities, volume, time and frequency, as well as with calibration and verification services that the Bureau of Metrology delivers to its clients.
