At the meeting of the Technical Committee for Quality (TC-Q) held in Paris on 18 and 19 April, Goran Vukoslavović – Quality Manager at the Bureau of Metrology, presented organizational structure of the Bureau of Metrology, development of national calibration laboratories, quality management system documentation, the work of the Quality Board, statistical data on calibration of measuring instruments and measurement standards as well as the future plans.

Members of the Technical Committee for Quality have unanimously accepted QMS implementation report as well as the presentation of the system and confirmed their trust in the established system.

In accordance with the rules of the European Association of National Metrology Institutes (EURAMET), upon the expiry of the five-year period from the first presentation of the quality system before the Technical Committee for Quality, representatives of National Metrology Institutes were to prepare a report and presentation on the functioning of the system over that period of time.

The established quality system at the Bureau of Metrology was initially presented and accepted in 2013.
