On 15 April 2022, second-year students of the Faculty of Applied Science of the University of Donja Gorica, from the Electrical Engineering and Computing study programme, visited the Bureau of Metrology.

During the lectures, the students were introduced to the concept of metrology as a science, the branches of metrology, the activities and work of the Bureau and national calibration laboratories.

In addition to the abovementioned, a part of the practical classes was also organized in the Laboratory for Electrical Quantities, where the lecture was held by the deputy head of the Laboratory, Jovana Vukoslavović. The students had the opportunity to perform measurements of electric voltage, current and resistance, as well as calculations of measurement uncertainty.

The visit of the students of the University of Donja Gorica was organized as one of the activities within the marking of 20 May – World Metrology Day, as well as with the aim of establishing continuous business cooperation and exchanging project ideas.
