Representatives of the Bureau of Metrology, Milena Raonić and Naina Čuturić Knežević, have attended the XX National and VI International Conference titled “Quality System Condition for Successful Business and Competitiveness”.

During the conference, numerous topics and papers were presented such as: “Quality: Challenges in the 21st century”, “Montenegrin examples of nonconformity to learn from”, “How to get to the strategy (context-risks-opportunities)”, “Digital competences and entrepreneurial framework in the development of high-quality subjects in higher education”, “Impact of using industrial robots to increase efficiency”, “The role of active, smart packaging in reducing food losses” and many others.

In addition, a workshop titled “Food availability and safety: from vision to reality (or the other way around)” was organized, as well as the promotion of the monograph “20 years of AKS conferences”.

The conference was organized by the Association for Quality and Standardization of Serbia in cooperation with the Center for Quality of the Faculty of Engineering Sciences of the University of Kragujevac, Center for Quality of the Faculty for Mechanical Engineering from Podgorica, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the University of East Sarajevo, Higher  Technical Technology School in Kruševac and Middle and South East European Countries Quality Initiative.

The conference took place from 28 to 30 November 2018 in Kopaonik.
